The Little Wattlebird (AKA Brush Wattlebird) is a commonly found in East Coast Australia often in urban backyards. Though fairly plain in colour, these nectarfeeding birds are not shy and well worth keeping an eye out for. In this story, Don Burke shows a family of Little Wattlebirds in his own backyard and documents how the babies transition from the nest to feeding on their own.
