WHERE IS THE NEST? The nest is along the Little Miami National Wild & Scenic River in SW Ohio USA near South Lebanon Ohio on private property. We don't disclose more detail to avoid trespassing and nest disturbance. Thanks for your understanding!

B&B ID: Bette has what looks like black “eyeliner” along her upper eyes, she’s 2530% bigger than Baker, she has a more stern look to her eyes, her feathers have varying shades of brown, giving her a mottled color look, her front neckline has a jagged inverted wide u shape. Baker has a softer look to his eyes, his body is more streamlined looking, his feathers are more even brown colored & a bit darker than Bette’s, his front neckline has an inverted kind of V shape. Baker's beak has a more curved topline to it, Bette's topline of beak is straighter, with hook at end.

HOW OLD are Baker and Bette? We believe that they are 14 years old, if not older!
IS it Baker or Bette? Watch. this 'side by side' comparison    • Is it BAKER or BETTE?
