The MK pride is deploying different tactics to counteract the threat from the Nomads. A group of lionesses break off from the pride and travel north to meet the new males: distraction mating could keep the Nomads away from their territory, their cubs, and the other vulnerable members of the clan. But it’s a dangerous gamble by the females, to come so close to males who’ve already attacked the neighboring pride. Can they use their feminine wiles to manipulate the males, and keep the rest of their pride safe from invasion?
