Feeding and watching birds in Western North Carolina from 8AM to 8PM ET

Mama and Papa Robin have hatched and are caring for FOUR chicks! Two of them hatched on April 24, and two more on the 25th. Their nest is around corner from the feeders about 60 feet away in a rhododendron bush.

Bird feed menu: C&S Hot Pepper Suet Block, Cole's Blazing Hot Loose Birdseed, Mr. Bird Flaming Hot Feast Seed Cylinder, Audubon Park Snack Stacks for finches and woodpeckers.

All feed is coated in hot habanero pepper to discourage squirrels from interrupting the birds' meal. Our tree rat friends have their own nonspicy feeder elsewhere in the yard.
