Builder Levi Green got his 1958 Chevy Apache truck as a present from his uncle when he was 14, but you could barely call it a truck given the condition it was in. So along with his dad, Levi went about restoring the truck.

Levi made many additions to the truck to turn it into a hot rod, like grafting a 1978 Trans Am front clip to the stock chassis, and a custom step notch for the rear suspension.

The engine of this truck is a 355 small block Chevy with a 350 transmission. He’s thought about adding an LS engine, but he likes that this is the engine he built with his dad, and it’s always been reliable for this classic truck.

Levi was kind enough to show off his Apache truck at the Wheel Hub Live event hosted by the Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed.
