She arrived to the shelter in October 2015 at the tender age of 2 months. Lela loves to love more than anything else and that is what she misses the most all these years. She also lacks security. Naturally mild, timid, and gentle, Lela has consistently sought refuge in secluded corners, keeping a safe distance from crowds and the potential threat of other dogs. Since we moved to a new shelter, for the last four years, her safe corner is the box and the terrace in front of the box. The open meadow is a distant prospect for her, too far from the safety she seeks and too close to the barking that induces fear.  

Lela is an extremely calm dog, goodnatured and cuddly towards all people, known and unknown. As much as her fur is silky and soft and longs for human touch, so is her heart, longing for human love. Give Lela the opportunity to love, let her spend the remaining years of her life in peace and security. If you only knew the bliss awaiting you, you wouldn't hesitate for a moment!
