In this video, we explore my third generation Lego pneumatic / airpowered shooting mechanism. And to up the ante, we will make this a monstrous threebarrel shotgun that can shoot up to 12 rounds at once!

My previous airpowered guns used a crimping method of generating explosive blasts of air. But these mechanisms relied on bending the pneumatic hose, and then unbending it, which makes it slower to fully open the pipe. My new mechanism however opens the pipe much more rapidly, creating more powerful blasts of air, and makes it easy to crimp multiple hoses at once.

Finally, I will also add a large storage tank for air so that the shotgun can be reloaded quickly without having to pump it up between shots.

Let’s experiment to see how powerful we can make this shooter, what projectiles we can shoot at our moving tanktargets, and how many shots we can get out of our storage tank!
