We were the guests of Çoban İbrahim, who lives alone with his family in the Eydemir plateau of Bademli village of Emirdağ district of Afyon province. This family, which has no settlements around them and lives alone in the steppe, makes its living by raising small livestock. Two 9yearold Male Kangal Shepherd Dogs take on the duty of protecting the herd. Çoban İbo, who has an extraordinary life story, explained that there was no water in the village and that they met their water needs by collecting rainwater.
