Sky News host Rita Panahi reacts to people on the street who are against 12yearolds getting tattoos but support teenagers being able to consent to puberty blockers.

One woman told YouTuber Maliksnaps that children can’t get a tattoo at 12 years old because it is a permanent change on their own bodies but proceeded to support the change regarding puberty blockers.

“It’s a permanent change on their body but I think at that point they probably know who they are, who they want to be,” one woman said.

Ms Panahi said many children think puberty blockers are “harmless” and no consequences to going down the path of medical transition.

“Tattoos bad but transitioning – going down the road of irreversible treatments – fine,” Ms Panahi said.
