The first thing I noticed when I took my Lectric XP StepThru for a ride was that there was a slight scraping noise coming from my front brakes. After doing a little youtube research, I realized that scraping and squeeky noises were common for mechanical disc brakes on electric bikes and some issues were not that difficult to resolve.
In this video, I will show you some of the easy adjustments that can be made on most bikes that have mechanical disc brakes with similar designs to the type on the Lectric XP ebikes.
