Lyndsey and Jay were working and living in Courtenay, BC, but something was missing. They had a dream of starting a donut shop, one of those classic momandpop stores! However, neither of them had restaurant experience. What Lyndsey did have was a finance background and experience working with small businesses. So she felt it was definitely something they could do as long as they had a solid plan. It took them 3 years to perfect their business model, but eventually they had everything planned and decided to take the plunge.
