◼ Kelly Byrnes, founder of Voyage Consulting Group and adjunct MBA/EMBA professor at Rockhurst University, began The Leadership Book of the Month in 2021. As an executive coach and leadership consultant, Kelly works with midsize and small companies across the Midwest to help leaders navigate change with clarity and confidence so their influence leads to highperformance.

◼ Bret Getzel, Chief Operating Officer, was a student in one of the classes Kelly taught as he completed his MBA at Rockhurst University. When he returned to one of her classes as a guest speaker after graduating, he hauled in 100 leadership books! The class was enthralledand Kelly knew he would be the perfect person to join this endeavor!

Bret joined the panel after Kelly hosted alone for two months in 2021, and the recordings began.

◼ Dave Lingerfelt is an Executive Assistant Professor of Healthcare and Data Science at Rockhurst University. (Yes, the Hawks connection is strong!) Kelly and Dave met at faculty meetings, and got to know each other through those and through posts on LinkedIn. Seeing how Dave advocated for lifelong learning and wellrounded leadership, Kelly and Bret invited him to join the panel in 2022.
