Fixed: Flat LCD TV Samsung 46” shows blinking light but won’t “light up” shows only dark screen.

Fixed by resoldering legs of power supply board transformer.

When opened we pushed on power cord thus slightly bending the board and the tv lit up (after first disconnecting flat cable to mother board which makes Samsung tv:s light up without hitting any button). Reason for failure as stated was poor connection of transformer to board (shook loose probably from trafo vibrations over time).
