personal statements are so hard to write! (well, maybe not as hard as the lsat, which i still don't know how i got through.) in this video, i talk about my own experience writing (and rewriting) my personal statement for law school and read you my final personal statement and yale 250 (the 250word supplemental essay required by yale law). along with my gpa, lsat, and strong letters of recommendation, these essays got me accepted to yale, harvard, columbia (fulltuition hamilton), nyu (fulltuition vanderbilt), and duke (interviewed for the fulltuition mordecai but withdrew my application after acceptances elsewhere). stanford waitlisted me :(
