Chesapeake Light Craft's PocketShip is a 15foot sailboat with berths for two that's surprisingly nimble under sail. Amateur boatbuilders working from kits or plans have assembled PocketShips on six continents. In 2014 we rigged up the welltraveled PocketShip #1 with cameras and went for a sail. Designer John C. Harris walks us through rigging and launching the boat, and a variety of onwater maneuvers, including a spinnaker set and a reef in the mainsail.
