When we met Adam in 2008 he had already been in juvenile prison for 8 months. During his final few days in lockup, he sat in his cell and talked to us about all the issues from his childhood parents who abandoned him, the anger he felt growing up, and the love he had for his grandparents who had raised him since he was a baby. This video looks back at Adam's final days behind bars, the interviews we conducted from his prison cell, the interview we did with him the day of his release, and ultimately, the happy moment he reunited with his grandparents who showed up at the prison to take him home. The video also includes an interview with Adam's grandparents and an update at the end of the video that states how things turned out for Adam all these years later.
