The “Indigenous” pick up is the act of picking up the ball by rolling the head of the stick over the ball, all in one motion corralling the ball. This maneuver requires a player to hit the ball on the corner of the closed face of the stick, and in one streamline motion turning the stick head over and corralling the ball via the other corner of the stick.
