29:06 Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine 石清水八幡宮

On my way from Kyoto to Osaka, I stopped by Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine.
Iwashimizu Hachimangu is one of the most important Hachimangu shrines in Japan.
Usa Jingu Shrine, Iwashimizu Hachiman Shrine (Yawata City, Kyoto Prefecture), Hakozaki Shrine (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture), or Tsurugaoka Hachimangū Shrine (Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture) are considered to be the three major Hachiman shrines in Japan.
When you read it like this, don't you want to visit all of them?lol

It is a bit far from Kyoto city, so I rarely passed by tourists.
It is a very quiet shrine.
You can take the ropeway to the top, but a leisurely stroll on foot is also recommended.

This is the end of my Kyoto trip for now.
Too bad I couldn't go to Hieizan, Saihoji, etc.
If possible, I would like to come back to Kyoto in the fall when the leaves are changing.

大阪へ向かう途中で石清水八幡宮に立ち寄りました。
宇佐神宮と、石清水八幡宮京都府八幡市、筥崎宮福岡県福岡市、または鶴岡八幡宮神奈川県鎌倉市が日本三大八幡宮とされているようです。
こう書かれると全部に行ってみたくなりませんか
京都市からかなり遠いため旅行者はあまりおらず、とても静かな神社です。
ロープウェイもありますが、徒歩でも簡単に上まで行けました。
徒歩もおすすめです。
これで京都の旅も一旦終わりです。
比叡山や苔寺に行きたいですし、次は紅葉の季節に来たいですね
