A middleaged botanist grows a young plant girl in his greenhouse. Despite his love and care, and partly because of it, the girl wilts as she grows. His overprotectiveness forces the girl to remain in her small pot, and she grows weaker and weaker. The man discovers that to save her from dying, he must let her go.
