KnokkeHeist is a Belgian coastal municipality bordering the Netherlands. It’s known for its beach and the Zwin Nature Park, an area of salt marshes and mudflats that shelters birds like storks and oystercatchers. On the edge of the Zwin is “Hospitality,” a bronze sculpture of a giant hare. The For Freedom Museum illuminates the area’s history during WWII with dioramas, uniforms and original vehicles. ― Google

In Knokke you will find many luxury boutiques on the Kustlaan. The wellknown retail chains have branches on the Lippenstraat. From the station in Knokke you walk from the Lippenstraat directly to the Kustlaan on the coast. Many shops in the Lippenstraat are also open on Sundays.
