This shawl is knit on the bias (from the side/diagonal) with Yarnspirations Bernat Pop! Yarn in the latest colors! This new pattern and yarn is sponsored by Yarnspirations.com.

The main stitch is garter and has a series on increases and detritus with the simple knit stitch. It is an EASY pattern and I will show you each step to work the entire shawl including weaving in the ends in garter stitch.

You'll need to know already how to knit the basic knit stitch. The cast on is only 2 stitches and I will show you how. I'll show you as well how to bind off (cast off) to get the yarn off the needles as well. You CAN do this and it only takes 2 balls for the project. Makes a great gift!

Supplies:
Brent Pop! color Full Spectrum (sample) or Paisley Pop (sample on model) or any one of the new colors 2 balls
US 8 (5 mm) 36" circular needles

Skills and techniques covered:
Cast on
Knit
K2tog Decrease
Kfb Increase
Add ball of yarn on color changing yarn
Cast off (Bind off)
Weave tail

Loom option(s):
Recommend 7/16" SG Knitting Board 28" loom with peg extenders as it has enough pegs and should get similar gauge.
OR Any Small Gauge (SG) or Regular Gauge (RG) loom 3/8"9/16" C2C Peg spacing with at least 140160+ pegs for the pillow pattern.

On Even rows use purl stitch in p;ace of knit stitches. When an increase of Kfb is called for don't convert to pfb, just use Kfb or a M1 increase as it is comfortable for you. Just do the same consistently as it is all up one side only. RS or Odd rows are the RS on the loom and do not require converting.
