My cat Mochi has a UTI, and after speaking with the vet, we decided to start with a short trial of cranberry juice to lower the pH of her urine. Antibiotics may be necessary soon, but this is a quick trial.

Cranberries are acidic and end up translating to a more acidic urine. It's believed that the increased acidity of the urine can make the environment less favorable for UTIs.

Cat UTI symptoms are typically urinary frequency... that translates to peeing a lot (outside her litter box, too).

I'll keep you posted on the treatment remember to always speak with your vet first!
