Ari Behn was a well known Norwegian author and artist. From 2002 until their divorce in 2017 he was married to Princess Märta Louise of Norway, and they had 3 childeren together. He stayed on good terms with the royal family even after the divorce, and was often on the official guest lists. However. On Christmas Day of 2019 Ari Behn commited suicide. The royal family chose to be open about this tragedy, and King Harald devoted most of his New Year speech that year to talk about mental health.
