Our kids must have stepped on their kindle that Uncle Zack bought for them. We thought it was trashed. We looked around on YouTube for a way to fix it and sure enough there were a couple videos. Most of which were really long. We bought a kit from Amazon (see link below) and today we install it. Believe it or not, it is really easy. Should take about 3045 minutes to do. Mainly because you need to heat the glass to make the adhesive loosen up. Don't make the same mistake I did and try to pry it off... use the small suction cup with a loop to remove the glass after you have warmed it up. Some videos said you could probably use a hair drier. Maybe that would work, if you give it enough time. I used a heat gun. Within no time, the adhesive was soft and the glass came out. Watch as I install this new digitizer... I call it a screen.
