It's hard to miss Quentin Tarantino these days. The director of RESERVOIR DOGS and PULP FICTION is back with the release of the excellent ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD, and it was a good opportunity to revisit the core of his cinema, namely his ability to recycle his cinephilic memory and infuse it into the narrative of his works.

In this sense, KILL BILL is perhaps the most emblematic film of his career. Not only because it pays a vibrant tribute to the exploitation cinema that is so dear to him, but also because it brings together all his major influences without ever losing the viewer in this maelstrom of genres that are not necessarily designed to meld together.
