We had an unforgettable Alaskan vacation in and around the Kenai Peninsula while visiting our daughters family and our first grandchild. We encountered Brown Bears feasting on salmon, Moose, Black Bears, Porcupines, and spectacular scenery for our drone. We really hope you enjoy watching this video as much as we enjoyed making it.
P.S. The mosquitos certainly lived up to their famed Alaskan reputation, uugh!
Our hiking was done in the areas around: Alyeska, Girdwood, Portage, Whittier, Sunrise, Hope, Cooper Landing, Moose Pass, Crown Point, Primrose, Bear Creek, Seward and Lowell Point. Most of the hikes were located in the Chugach National Forest. The Brown Bears were filmed at the Russian River Falls. The Moose was filmed in the Knik River area northeast of Anchorage.
Two things you definitely want to have while hiking in Alaska: Mosquito Spray and Bear Spray ~ not sure which one is most important, haha!
