This video is a step by step process on relacing the Kelderman shock on the RAM 5500 Chassis. It is not a Ram factory shock and has been modified by Dynamax/Kelderman. I started the warranty process with Dynamax, and they originally agreed to send me new shocks. Weeks passed by and they never got back to me. I ended up calling Kelderman warranty directly, and left several messages with them. None of my calls were returned. Because my shocks were completely blown out, I could not drive my RV without it bouncing too much. I ended up calling Kelderman sales department, and they had no problem selling me new shocks and didn't know why warranty would not return my call. I paid for the shock and had them installed. After that, I contacted Dynamax again and requested a refund. They needed more pictures, and they contacted Kelderman (again). Kelderman finally emailed me and asked for the original shocks to be mailed to them. Luckily I didn't throw them away, and I ended up mailing it to them. After a couple of weeks of mailing it to them, I contacted them again, and they finally issued a refund.

It was much more hassle than necessary, and both companies get a D in warranty assistance. They were pretty good at ignoring and not returning calls. They were very unprofessional in my opinion, and had no care factor. Either though I had some problems with my Winnebago, I never had a problem getting a hold of the warranty department at Winnebago. That is not the case for Dynamax. I had a couple of bad experiences with them on both not returning numerous emails and phone calls.
