We're jumping in head first! The decision of choosing nomad life | van life had to be made in a matter of weeks. Dan was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 5 in his spine months ago, we were gently evicted 2 months ago and this is what we can afford with our current resources.

So we're doing a cargo trailer camper conversion and transitioning to (not quite) van life. We plan on living off the grid as much as possible and doing a lot of overlanding in our tiny house on wheels.

The good thing is van life has been our dream for a long time. Life, the Universe, heard us I guess and made it happen! Does it look like what we planned? Not exactly. But we're turning a scary situation (scary diagnosis) into the adventure of a lifetime! Digital nomad life, here we come! We choose to trust the universe.

We also believe leaving our stressful life behind will be healing. We want to know what it feels like to leave The Ten Thousand Things behind and experience the healing freedom of the open road.

So, we’re selling ALL our belongings and heading for the nature and the road, starting with driving from Vancouver Island to Florida to see the grandkids we haven’t hugged in 5 years.

The crazy thing is, we've never done this before. It's trial by fire.
