An animated video in celebration of this year's 190th birthday of Jonathan the Tortoise the world's oldest living land animal and the oldest chelonian to have ever lived.

The video was produced locally in St Helena Island, where Jonathan has resided since 1882, and depicts some of the significant changes in the island and the world that Jonathan has lived through.

Animation by Mickail Harris and the specially produced song about Jonathan was created and provided by American musician Christopher Tait.
