Jenn Burgoyne of Courage K9 is located in Alberta, Canada. With 25 years of working with horses and dogs professionally and 15 years of teaching animal first aid, Jenn travels across North America offering K9, Feline and Equine First Aid Programs, disaster planning, and canine & equine workshops.
Jenn retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, where she served as a police officer, in August 2022. She worked in British Colombia, Alberta & Ontario during her career. Units included: general duty policing, water patrols, domestic violence unit, school resource officer, Musical Ride, traffic enforcement, human smuggling, firearms intelligence, staffing, as well as being the trainer & supervisor for a mounted patrol unit.
She also breeds Canada's National Horse, which has been on and off the endangered breed list for years. Jenn's passion for dogs and security, has also inspired her to bred Australian Shepherds & working canines (German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherds). She is also the owner of Therapy Dogs Canada, which certifies handlers & dogs for Therapy Work. Jenn currently trains everything from therapy dogs, scent detection dogs, tracking/search dogs, apprehension/protection dogs, livestock protection dogs & service dogs. She offers training programs in person & virtually along with fully trained dogs for your consideration.
In her downtime, she enjoyed life on the farm with her 2 kids, 2 stepchildren & spouse.
