I had a fun new year, my jeep started with the dreaded death wobble and 4 days later my truck startetd doing the same thing ... right before that arctic air moved in and basically grounded me until the weather got warm. Both the jeep and truck had different parts but same symptoms.

On the jeep jku, the death wobble was caused by the track bar bushing ... as usual. I didn't buy this jeep new so not sure the track bar had ever been replaced but the jeep has 90,000 miles on it and the track bar looked original. As far as aftermarket parts, it looks like the previous owner walked into rough country and bought everything there, lift kit, interior grab bars, light bar brackets, lights, stainless brake lines, dual shock steering stabilizers, etc. I really wasn't sure which track bar to get but with a 6" lift and 35" tires I wanted it to be adjustable because the steering wheel has always been at about the 11 o'clock position from the day i bought it.

The rough country track bar was similarly priced as others but I noticed something that said "lifetime warranty" and well, we all know how much jeeps love track bars. So that pretty much solved that for me. In this video, we install the rough country track bar in about an hour. I also ordered the bracket kit but realized the jeep already had one on it likely included with the lift kit so I didn't put the new one on it. After the test drive, my front end vibration and death wobble was gone. You can clearly see the play in the bushing on the one I removed in the video.
