This swell was in memory of Marcio 'Mad Dog' Freire who recently passed away surfing in Nazaré, Portugal. Marcio along with fellow brazilians Yuri Soledad, and Danilo Couto were pioneers when it came to paddle in surfing at Jaws. He was a huge inspiration for many.
