Quick video where I teardown and repair a Robotwist style automatic jar opener for my Nanna.

Turns out the issue was the first plastic gear in the reduction chain which is driven by the little 3v motor was nearly seized to the shaft.
This meant that the motor was trying to turn the whole contraption with only the first stage of gear reduction.
Once this was fixed it worked nicely.
