This video starts from inside Ise Jingu. There are several shrines in Ise Jingu but we are going to start in front of the gate of the main shrine. I wanted to show what it looks like inside the main shrine but video shooting was not allowed. We walk out of the huge premises and then check out the local shopping street.

Trivia: Akafuku sells nationwide very famous traditional Japanese sweets called Akafuku mochi. Their business started 300 years ago! The original store shown in this video is the very first store. If you visit Ise Jingu, Akafuku mochi is the must thing you should eat!
