The word "Janu'' means "soul'' in Sanskrit, and "Aman'' means "peace'' in Sanskrit. Janu hotel projects are underway around the world, and Janu Tokyo is the first under the brand to open.

The interior design was by JeanMichel Gathy of Aman's partner Denniston Architects.

■Azabudai Hills
Azabudai Hills is a complex located in Azabudai 1chome, Toranomon 5chome, and Roppongi 3chome, Minatoku, Tokyo, Japan. Opening on November 24, 2023. The total project cost is approximately 640 billion JPY (450 million USD). The developer is Mori Building. The area is approximately 8.1 ha, the site area is approximately 63,900 m2, and the total floor area is approximately 861,500 m2.

Azabudai Hills is divided into Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower, Azabudai Hills Residence A/B, and Azabudai Hills Garden Plaza A/B/C/D. The height of Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower is 330m (64 floors above ground, 5 floors underground), and in addition to offices, there are also residences, medical facilities, commercial facilities, and an international school.

The two Azabudai Hills Residences are residential highrise buildings, with Residence B having a height of 262.83m and Residence A having a height of 237.20m. Azabudai Hills Garden Plaza consists of four buildings ranging from 3 to 8 stories. Additionally, a central plaza with an area of approximately 6,000 m2 has been established between Mori JP Tower and Garden Plaza.

ジャヌJanuという言葉にはサンスクリット語で魂Soulという意味があり、アマンAmanはサンスクリット語で「平和」を意味しています。世界各地でジャヌのホテルプロジェクトが進行中で、このジャヌ東京が同ブランドとして最初の開業となっています。

インテリアデザインは、アマンのパートナーであるデニストン設計事務所Denniston Architectsのジャンミシェル・ギャシー氏JeanMichel Gathyが手掛けました。

■麻布台ヒルズ
麻布台ヒルズは、日本の東京都港区麻布台一丁目・虎ノ門五丁目・六本木三丁目に所在する複合施設。2023年6月30日竣工。2023年11月24日開業。総事業費はおよそ6400億円。デベロッパーは森ビル。区域面積は約8.1 ha 、敷地面積は約63,900 m2 、延床面積は約861,500 m2。

麻布台ヒルズは麻布台ヒルズ森JPタワー、麻布台ヒルズレジデンスA/B、麻布台ヒルズガーデンプラザA/B/C/Dに分かれています。麻布台ヒルズ森JPタワーの高さは330m地上64階、地下5階で、オフィスのほか、住宅・医療施設・商業施設・インターナショナル・スクールも併設されています。

2棟の麻布台ヒルズレジデンスは住宅主体の高層ビルで、レジデンスBの高さは262.83m、レジデンスAの高さは237.20mとなっています。麻布台ヒルズガーデンプラザは3〜8階建ての建物4棟から成っています。また、森JPタワーとガーデンプラザの間に面積約6,000 m2 の中央広場が設置されています。

設計は、麻布台ヒルズ森JPタワーと麻布台ヒルズレジデンスAは森ビル/日本設計、麻布台ヒルズレジデンスBは森ビル/日建設計/日建ハウジングシステム、麻布台ヒルズガーデンプラザは森ビル/山下設計、また施工については、麻布台ヒルズ森JPタワーと麻布台ヒルズレジデンスAは清水建設、麻布台ヒルズレジデンスBは三井住友建設、麻布台ヒルズガーデンプラザは大林組がそれぞれ担当しています。

麻布台ヒルズ森JPタワーの建設地にはかつて日本郵政グループ飯倉ビルがありました。麻布台ヒルズレジデンス及び麻布台ヒルズガーデンプラザの建設地は「我善坊谷」と呼ばれる窪地で、住宅や商店が建ち並んでいました。
