Is Premium Economy worth it? I flew to Japan in Economy class, then Premium on the way back to compare. Both flights are with JAL (Japan Airlines).

Premium Economy is often quite a bit more expensive than Economy class, but is it worth the cost to upgrade? Now that the flight from London to Japan is so long (14 hours!), do you need a more comfortable seat on the plane? In this video, I compare Japan Airlines' premium and economy. See the difference in the seats, legroom, comfort, amenities, food (including vegetarian lacto ovo meal) and service, so you can decide if it's worth it for your Japan trip. An extra perk with JAL with premium is entry to the Sakura lounge at Tokyo Haneda. See what it's like in the video including the buffet, drinks and seating. It's very calm and relaxing, and in the Skyview Lounge there's a view of the planes. JAL is part of OneWorld, so if you're flying from another airport there are other lounges you can use. The video also includes what it was like transferring at Tokyo Haneda Airport from an international to a domestic flight (terminal 3 to terminal 1) and flying from Tokyo to Fukuoka, also with JAL.
