Jack Sparrow is my newest DIY animatronic and was inspired by the original version from the classic Pirates of the Caribbean ride in the Disney Parks. The figure is animated with the help of 15 servo motors and almost entirely 3D printed. Blender was used for the design and animation process and we can here the original dialogue recorded by Johnny Depp himself. My fiancée helped me again to bring Jack to life with an incredibly detailed costume.
