'Italy life, Italy strife and happy wife'...Pete wanted that as a title for this episode!
We do think we are bit mad sometimes and we're pretty sure the locals do as well, while we're out on the land sweating with our 10hour days and everyone else is either at the beach or enjoying the Puglian food! The great news is, however, that it's beginning to make a difference to the health of the trees, diversity of wildlife and the quality of produce that the land rewards us with. This episode is all about the changes we've made to the management of our 4acre patch of land with its 120 olive trees and 50 fruit/nut trees in Southern Italy and the differences we've seen as a result. Our aim was always to establish a healthy balance with nature whilst achieving selfsufficiency as far as possible. The place certainly looks very different to its surroundings, what do you think?
