@huckberry and @timex just did a rerelease of the Ironman Triathlon FLIX Watch! It’s tough, simple, and doesn’t have any tech that will constantly distract you. When Huckberry reached out to see if I was interested in taking a look at it I told them up front I am not a watch guy but, my buddy Charles over there said he thought I would dig it. As not a watch guy I can say it’s lightweight and has exactly what I need and nothing more ( even though the memo feature is a mystery to me). As I dove into why you would want to reissue a watch that I feel like I saw everywhere in the late 90’s I found that it’s super tough and everyone from athletes to military loved this model for its dependability and simplicity. I know I’m probably off just a bit but it is super similar to the watch @jockowillink wears and posts all the time too! If you’re looking for something simple, tough, and a little retro it’s a hard deal to beat for right around $100. Now I’ll sit back and wait for the watch guys to teach me all the stuff I didn’t know!
