We wanted to add chicks to our egglaying chicken flock but a predator in the night ambushed our chickens! We thought our predator problems ended when we added on to our chicken run to stop the hawks and let our chickens free range in the evenings. We learned a valuable lesson. Don't make the same mistake we did. We knew opossums would attack chickens but we thought they were safe. We were wrong. Make sure you use the right materials for your chicken coop.
