Is Your Diesel on Death's Door? Signs You Shouldn't Ignore (And What to Do Next)

In this video, I will show you how to fix a common diesel engine problem known as the black death. This is when the engine runs rough, has a lumpy idle, emits a smell of diesel in the cabin, and triggers the engine management light. This can be caused by leaking injectors, faulty seals, or carbon buildup in the cylinder head.

I will demonstrate how to diagnose and repair this issue on my 2010 Peugeot RCZ 2.0 16v Hdi, which has the same DW10TED4 engine as some Citroen, Ford and Volvo models under a different engine code. You will need some basic tools, a new injector seal kit, and some patience. Follow along as I guide you through the steps and share some tips and tricks along the way.

This video will save you time and money, and restore your engine’s performance and reliability. If you find this video helpful, please like, share, and subscribe to my channel for more diesel engine tips and tutorials. Thanks for watching!
