Max is a fast food chain in Sweden and their hamburgers have been voted the best in Sweden. But how do they stack up against burgers from America, the home of fast food? I decided to travel to the US to find out.

To give Max a proper comparison, I ate at 9 different fast food restaurants in America and then I gave each burger a ranking based on taste, appearance and texture. These were the different fast food restaurants I used for comparison and just one of them is also available in Sweden:

Whataburger
McDonald's
Jack in the Box
InnOut
Wendy's
Carl's Jr.
Sonic DriveIn
Five Guys
White Castle

As a bonus I also visited Big Boy, but since that's not a fast food restaurant per se, I disqualified it from this comparison. Also, I was planning on visiting a few more places like Burger King and Shake Shack but there's only so many burgers a man can stomach!
