Today, we will look at a very controversial topic. Is Need for Speed Unbound a true Need for Speed? Is it true to its core and its predecessors? There are furious debates on the internet, about whether NFS Unbound is any good, or whether Unbound's soundtrack is good or bad. Some people are so furious, they even started being aggressive on social media, especially Reddit. Just search for the term "Unbound soundtrack" in Reddit's r/needforspeed community, and some of those battles out there are absolutely... Just impossible to understand. Anyway, whether you want to, or not, Unbound is an official Need for Speed game. And today, we go down a tiny iceberg, to explain my view on this topic. Is Unbound a real Need for Speed game? Is it worthy of the NFS label? Should it exist? Should it change the soundtrack? Should they ever get rid of those cartoony characters? How does it resemble the very first Need for Speed games, like The Need for Speed, to Hot Pursuit? How it is it tied to Underground 2, Most Wanted, Carbon, Undercover, etc?
