What's the difference between calfskin and standard leather for boots? In this video, I'm showing you two boots that I've worn for over a year. One has calfskin leather, and the other has a high quality full grain leather.

While the benefits of calfskin leather might not be super noticeable when your boots are brand new, you can see how much more gently these boots have creased over a year of wear.

Calfskin ages really well. However, it's best for dress boots because it's not as tough and rugged. But its tighter grain means that it creases more gently over time.
