IPMAT Indore is coming up. Let's talk about good scores, cutoffs, and marks to score in quants (quantitative aptitude) and verbal ability.

IIM Indore doesn't see the student's marks in descending order. They have their special ATS (Aptitude Test Score) formula, which gives 25%, 25% and 50% weightage to the SA, MCQ and VA sections, respectively.

Hence, you must also play to your strengths and maximise your marks in one of the sections to get a higher weightage. Just clearing the cutoff isn't enough, as most aspirants who have cleared the cutoff have barely done it by a couple of marks.

Hence, IPMAT cutoffs are overrated. Focus on maximisation instead if you want a better chance at getting in! Let this give you the edge in IPMAT Admissions.
