Why is my iPad not connecting to the WiFi?
When your iPad won't connect to WiFi, there is often a simple fix. Check and reset your WiFi router and modem first when your iPad won't connect to WiFi. If your router and modem are functioning fine, you should check and reset your iPad's WiFi connection and network settings.

Make sure the WiFi network is running. Before spending too much time troubleshooting why your iPad is having a problem, make sure it's actually the device that has the problem. Use your laptop, desktop or smartphone to connect to the Internet and verify the router is working. It's preferable to connect wirelessly to verify the WiFi is working, but if you don't have another wireless device, using your desktop will be fine.

Why wont my iPad automatically connect to WIFI?
If your device doesn't automatically join a captive WiFi network, follow these steps: Tap Settings WiFi. Tap next to the network name. Make sure that AutoJoin is on.

Update your office or home WiFi router's firmware to the latest version. Outdated firmware often causes connection problems. Some routers automatically check for firmware updates. If yours doesn't, visit the router manufacturer's website and look for firmware on the Downloads or Support page.

Reset your Network Settings. This also resets WiFi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.
