Starting out under the old Tree of Knowledge in Barcaldine certainly didn’t add any brilliance to the boys’ ability to get well and truly backtracked in this incredible ‘offroad trip’ through Outback Queensland and deep into the Northern Territory. Once again Roothy’s big thing was to try the back road he’s always figured might lead somewhere and stop in at all the places they’d usually drive past.
