Upgrading to a new 12v watermaker was essential to our plans for a more energy efficient, off grid sailboat. Our new Schenker Zen100 watermaker will enable us to make water from the power generated from our solar panels and let us stay longer in those remote islands we love to explore.

Of course, before we can get to those islands, we have to actually install the new watermaker. The install was fairly straightforward, although we customized the set up just a bit to make life easier for future maintenance.
