In this video Luke is showing the before and after of an espresso bar where we have have made a few changes with equipment and positioning to improve work flow.

In the process of designing an espresso bar, where you decide to place equipment has a major impact on the efficiency, work flow and ergonomics of an espresso bar. Ideally you want to have your coffee making process flowing in the one direction without crossovers, back and forths or equipment positioned in any way that will be of detriment to the process. On the flip side you also want the process for the customer to be smooth too, starting from where they place an order through to the point where their coffee is collected.
