After sitting for a week or more the float bowl on my 1965 Chevy Pickup would dry up and the starter would have to crank forever before enough fuel would get to the carburetor to start the engine. In this video I walk through the installation of a "flow through," low pressure electric fuel pump. The electric fuel pump is used to prime the mechanical fuel pump and fill the carburetor float bowl. Now the engine fires right up every time!!
